    Question

I posted a smiler question on another board, let's see what you guys know.

I came up with a story outline for a short film needing the INT of a UFO.

( Captains STATION ) To sell the story I would need this shot...but I construction has never been my strong suite.

Any ideas of what a small set might cost to put together? I have an offer to use an old TV switcher (non working ) as the counsel.

Another suggestion was to use bubble rap for the walls and paint it...not bad!! And make it out of foam core....
    Any other ideas?

What about compositing? Build portions of a full-scale UFO bridge, only the sections where actors will interact. Then composite the rest via green screen and a model.

I'm mostly talking out of my *** , having done no model or composite work myself. But I've jsut seen some amazing work by Super8 mensch Roger Evans (of MovieStuff) over at Brantley's Super8 board:

Then there was this wonderful lunatic who built his own full-scale Millenium Falcon:

And there was this other guy who built his own full-scale version of the Enterprise birdge from the classic STAR TREK, but I can't find his web page right now. He used the plans found in the Star Fleet Technical Manual as well as the old Enterprise blueprints.

SCOTT'S AIRPLANE SCENE ...I saw that the other day IT'S GREAT!

(Not all of use are bless with the ability to shoot and make models and sets.)

About finding someone that may have a full size set of the Enterprise or Falcon ...where would you find someone like that?

GREEN SCREEN .....what kind of cost for the video editing for a short scene 3 min or so. Any ideas.
